Aston-based Radshape Sheet Metal Ltd gained £1m investment from the Tooling Fund to secure essential tools needed to produce components for future Bentley vehicles. The deal will create 10 new jobs and secured another 20 to the Aston factory.

Sheet Metal Ltd support a wide range of industries that require metal
fabrication parts. From prototypes to bespoke company projects, Radshape have a
customer base both nationally and internationally.
Keith Chadwick, Managing Director, Radshape Sheet Metal, said:
“The support we received from Finance Birmingham has played a pivotal
role in securing this new contract from Bentley and our future as a business.
The funding we have received for tooling is simply unavailable from more
traditional sources of finance. While this is just one contract, we hope to
build a long-term relationship with the company and use our work with them to
attract further contracts.”
